ICYMI: Congressman Cloud Speaks on the Importance of the Bible

Washington, D.C. ー Last night, Congressman Cloud (TX-27) took to the House Floor to recognize National Bible Week.

Congressman Cloud spoke about how the Bible has influenced the identity of our nation.

“We can pass perfect laws, but if the hearts of the people are corrupt一then we still have a poor nation,” Congressman Cloud said. “We need to give our best effort to do right by the people and pass good laws, but we must also acknowledge that God is the hope of our nation.”
