Under the Biden-Harris administration, our national security has been jeopardized by dangerous open-border policies that prioritize illegal aliens over the safety of American citizens. Just in the last week, the FBI arrested an Afghan national who had entered the U.S. in 2021, following Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. This individual, currently on parole, was plotting an ISIS-inspired terror attack on election day, targeting large crowds. This is not an isolated case. Just days later, another Afghan national—someone with ties to Taliban commanders and an FBI-wanted terrorist—entered the U.S. from Turkey.

The fact is, under Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Secretary Mayorkas, these dangerous individuals were allowed to enter our country. This is a gross dereliction of duty.

My prayers are with the people of Florida and the South East as they recover from hurricanes Helene and Milton. In times like these, we lean on faith and each other. May God provide strength and protection to all affected.

The Biden-Harris administration continues to put illegals above U.S. citizens with its ‘America Last’ agenda. FEMA, the agency tasked with disaster response and aiding Americans in crisis, has spent over $1 billion in the last two years to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants under the Shelter and Services Program.

However the media wants to spin it, the facts are that roughly $364 million was allocated for the migrant program in 2023 alone, with $650 million already set for 2024. This is money that Americans are paying in taxes, and instead of being used to help Americans in any other capacity, it’s being used in these shelter programs for illegal aliens.

This is what the Biden-Harris administration’s priorities look like. It’s time we put America First again, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are spent where they’re needed most—on our citizens, not on an open-border agenda.

I’ve co-sponsored the National Constitutional Carry Act, introduced by Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, to ensure that Americans can utilize their Second Amendment rights anywhere in the country. This legislation reinforces the fundamental right to self-defense by allowing law-abiding citizens to carry firearms without being hindered by inconsistent state laws that infringe on our constitutional rights.

The Second Amendment guarantees that the right to “keep and bear arms” shall not be infringed. Our Founders understood the importance of this right for the security of a free state. Today, we must continue to defend it from overreach at both the state and federal levels. The National Constitutional Carry Act directly challenges any attempts by states or localities to criminalize conceal carrying in public.

God Bless,

Michael Cloud
Member of Congress

Michael Cloud demands answers from ICE over nearly 300,000 missing migrant children

“The Biden-Harris administration’s failure to track thousands of vulnerable migrant children is unacceptable,” he told the Washington Examiner. “Almost 300,000 children have essentially vanished under their watch, putting them at serious risk of trafficking and exploitation. This administration is sitting by and not doing nearly enough to get answers and fix this crisis.”
