As we face another dark moment for our nation, I urge you to join me in praying for President Trump and the future of our country. Yet another second assassination attempt on President Trump’s life over the weekend is a sobering reminder of just how out of control the political discourse the media often amplifies has become.

Now more than ever, we need to seek God’s protection and guidance as we navigate these troubling times. Our ultimate hope is not in politics, but in the sovereignty of God, who is always in control, even in our darkest hours. Keep the faith.

This week, we celebrated the anniversary of the signing of the bedrock of our republic—the Constitution. This remarkable document ensures that power rests with the people and protects our God-given rights from government overreach. As we reflect on the wisdom of our Founding Fathers, let us remember that it is our duty to defend these principles every day.

To put America first and protect our nation’s food supply and national security, the House passed the Protecting American Agriculture from Foreign Adversaries Act last week. This legislation ensures that foreign investments in American farmland are carefully scrutinized, particularly those connected to adversarial nations like China.

The bill strengthens the role of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) by adding the Secretary of Agriculture to the review process for agricultural-related foreign investments. This change helps guarantee that foreign entities’ purchases of U.S. farmland are thoroughly examined, especially when they may pose a national security risk.

By making these vital safeguards permanent, we are taking a stand to ensure our agricultural resources remain secure and in the hands of those with America’s best interests. This is a significant step forward in safeguarding our country’s farms from foreign influence, protecting the future of American agriculture and farmland, and safeguarding both our national security and agricultural independence.

American farms belong to American farmers.

The House has now passed the SAVE Act to safeguard the sanctity of our elections and uphold the principle Americans nationwide demand–that only U.S. citizens can participate in them.

While the Senate continues to ignore this legislation, our commitment to election integrity and border security remains unwavering. We’ve gone on the record for these critical reforms, and the Senate continues to ignore them. The American people deserve leaders who will take a stand, not brush off the will of the people.

The SAVE Act is essential to maintaining trust in our elections. America needs it, and we will keep fighting to ensure that only U.S. citizens have the right to vote in U.S. elections. We must force the Senate to vote on the SAVE Act by attaching it to any piece of government funding legislation.

Congress: the time to stand up for America is now.

During an interview with Clay Clark, I had the opportunity to discuss some critical issues affecting our nation today. We talked about the alarming statistic that only 60% of evangelical Christians vote, the concerning reality that China is leading in 90% of critical technologies, and I addressed the frequent question: Does Congress actually read bills before voting?
