Congressional App Challenge

Welcome to the 2023 Congressional App Challenge!

Compete with other middle school and high school-aged students from around the 27th Congressional District for the opportunity to have your work featured and promoted nationally. The Congressional App Challenge was created to increase the hands-on experience of STEM education throughout the U.S. and give students an opportunity to compete with other students in their district and gain national recognition for their coding and app-building skills.

The challenge seeks to:

Inspire – inspire students from every corner of the county to explore STEM, coding and computer science through hands-on practice.

Include – to actively include and engage students from communities that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech community.

Innovate – To innovate policymaking by connecting Members of Congress to new and emerging technologies through personal interactions with their student constituents.
